Apprentice Electrician

Our job sites are located throughout Moncton and surrounding areas, working on residential and commercial projects. What we would like you to bring to the table:

• Experience in wiring and troubleshooting electrical circuits, bending and installing EMT conduit.
• Experience working within the commercial environment is an asset.
• Ability to assist the Journeymen and Lead Hand and with various electrical tasks.
• Ability to interpret and follow drawings/plans and complete the scope of work.
• Provides material requirements to Journeyman/Lead Hand for distribution.
• Ability to inspect the completed work to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Fire alarm experience is considered an asset.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
• Have proficient fundamental knowledge of lockout/tag out.
• Work in the full range of environmental conditions: including outside in all weather.
• Knowledge of Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and all other applicable legislation required.
• Perform other related duties as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a physical fast-paced environment.
• 3rd and 4th block electrical certificate or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel to all job sites.
• Must have a strong work-ethic and be reliable.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
