About This Internship Opportunity

The intern will work hand-in-hand with a variety of organizational stakeholders to support overall project development. Throughout the Internship Work Team, they will have the opportunity to get involved with a multitude of tasks that will contribute to their professional career development as well as successful project completion.

What will I learn during my Internship Work Team?

General Activities May Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Learn to analyze contract documents, financials and reporting
  • Prepare presentations for financial meetings and interpret outcomes
  • Understand the process and details involved with full cycle accounting
  • Assist with time entry upload and process improvement
  • Correspond with vendors and support accounts payable
  • Learn how to prepare monthly financial schedule and reporting
  • Assist with invoicing and preparing supporting documentation
  • Participate in activities in both an office setting as well as off-site jobsite
  • Assist the team in performing technical activities that support department programs and projects
  • Provide general administrative support to team
  • Other duties as required in related financial projects to solidify the learning experience

Education & Skill Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor or Technical Degree or Diploma in relevant field
  • Basic understanding of finance, construction processes, procedures and relevant software
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
