Grade 3/4 Teacher

At Meadow Montessori we believe that all children are capable, contemplative, and creative. Following the BC curriculum, were seeking educators who naturally differentiate instruction, teach to the whole child, and advocate for students various learning and support needs. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and differentiating learning objectives, value collaboration between team members, and enjoy project based/multi modal engagement of learning. Applicants should have a strong sense of their individual educational philosophy, be community oriented, and align with our inclusive driven practices. NESTLED in a quaint heritage community, our school has been serving families for over 35 years. We have taught generations, entire families, starry eyed children that have grown up to become truly incredible human beings.

THE POSITION. We are seeking a passionate and fully-qualified, Grades 3-4 Teacher with an appetite for growing young minds. Someone with charisma & heart, patience & values. A teacher thats not afraid to get creative, interpret content & deliver it so that its truly understood. • Applicant should be comfortable working with a committed team
• Ability to provide an inclusive program thatfocuses on whole child development, as well as offers positive child guidance techniques andsupervision.
• Universal design planning experience is preferred
• Growth mindset and fully inclusive personal educational philosophy
• BC Teaching Certification
• Strong classroom management & communications skills
