Our expectations

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the FP&A Senior Analyst will lead revenue analyses for RONA’s corporately owned stores and its Pro (B2B) business. The chosen candidate will support the finance team and business partners in the follow-up of results, action plans, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning to help achieve financial objectives.

Your role

  • Act as a financial business partner to the Operations team leaders.
  • Analyze and interpret financial results related to the Sales & Margin for the corporate stores.
  • Participate in the forecasts and budget, as well as monitor variances between actual results and the budget on a periodic basis.
  • Support business partners in the development of action plans and monitor results.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to explain results and identify opportunities.
  • Participate in the business case for new projects and make recommendations on them.

The Qualifications We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a financial role.
  • Experience in the retail industry is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work.
  • Ability to speak in front of a group and can explain financial concepts to the public.
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis skills and show initiative and dynamism.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT tools including Excel
