Walmart Canada is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Support Associate to join our team. As an Office Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to our office operations. You will be a crucial member of our team, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filling, and document management.
- Greet and assist visitors and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for the office.
- Respond to email and phone inquiries and redirect them to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the office is well stocked at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Support the HR team with recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Assist with preparing reports and presentations as needed.
- Maintain and update office records, including employee files and inventory records.
- Assist with special projects and events.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, with strong typing and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
