POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available

SALARY: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum

POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES

Reporting to the Chair of BN Programs: Curriculum, Planning, & Quality Control in the department of nursing, the Research Assistant is responsible for providing support for a range of research activities including survey research, qualitative research, environmental scans, data storytelling and reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for undertaking literature reviews; contributing to the design and development of research projects; conducting research activities; collecting, documenting and analyzing data; preparing reports; participating in outreach and promotion activities, and supporting strategic initiatives within the Nursing department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in a relevant field of study (ie. Market Research, Business Analytics, Health or Social Sciences Research)
• Several years of research related work experience
• Experience managing surveys including survey design, survey management, and sample management
• Experience writing formal reports, briefing notes, research summaries, and presentations
• Data analysis skills including knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, SAS etc.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to undertake multiple tasks with limited supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with dashboards and visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
