About Our Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, HR Data Management, the Employee Service Specialist’s main purpose is to ensure accurate employee service-related and seniority dates through critical research and analysis, calculation, validation and documentation. They must locate and identify all sources of information pertaining to an employee’s life cycle; employee personal file(s), research and applying previous and existing rules, collective agreement provisions and settlements from various memoranda of agreement. They develop, implement and maintain a quality assurance process to ensure continuous integrity and reliability of confidential data.

Qualifications And Experience

Post secondary education relating to business, HR or a related field is required plus a minimum of 2 years related experience working in an HR/SAP environment or an acceptable equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a solid understanding of the Civil Service Agreement, the Civil Service Act and Regulations and CUPE. Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook is required. Accuracy, attention to detail, research and analytical skills are also required.

Salary Range: $2,289.42 - $2,861.78 Bi-Weekly
