Field Marketing Specialist

We are a leading home appliance manufacturer seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Field Marketing Specialist to support our field marketing efforts across the country. This critical role will be responsible for managing a third-party field team that executes in-store merchandising, training, and promotional activities. The Field Marketing Specialist will play a crucial part in maximizing brand visibility, driving sales, and ensuring optimal product presentation at key retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Team Management:
• Plan and manage the day-to-day activities of a high-performing third-party team of field representatives.
• Set clear performance goals, track progress, and provide regular feedback.
• Monitor team performance against key metrics (e.g., in-store execution rates, compliance, productivity, training completion rates).
• Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and training materials, including swag and POP.
• In-Store Execution:
• Oversee the execution of in-store marketing programs, including:
  
  
  

 Ensuring accurate product placement and visibility on the sales floor.

 Implementing point-of-sale (POP) materials and marketing collateral effectively.

 Conducting brief training sessions with retail sales associates on product features and benefits.

 Conduct regular store audits to assess compliance with merchandising standards.

 Identify and address any in-store execution gaps.

• Sales Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Collaborate with key cross-functional partners across marketing and sales.
• Analyze sales data at the store level to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Investigate the root causes of performance gaps, develop corrective action plans, and track the impact of field marketing activities.
• Prepare regular reports on field team performance, in-store execution, and sales results.
• Retailer Training:
• Develop and deliver impactful training programs for retail sales associates on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
• Collaborate with retailers to schedule and conduct in-store training sessions.
• Track and analyze training effectiveness and completion rates.
• Retailer Collaboration:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners.
• Collaborate with retailers to plan and execute joint marketing initiatives.
• Conduct store audits and training sessions as required by retailers.
• Attend retailer conferences and shows to engage with store managers and franchisees, support pre-show planning and post-show reporting.
• Travel:
• Occasional travel required to conduct store visits, attend industry events, and provide on-site support.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in field marketing, sales, or retail operations.
• Proven experience managing and leading a team.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across diverse sets of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with home appliances and proficiency in French are a plus.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.
