We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our data is accurately entered, maintained, and managed across multiple systems. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for inputting a large volume of information with precision, performing data verification, and maintaining databases. The ideal candidate will be equipped with strong typing skills, familiarity with data entry software, and a basic understanding of database management. You will also need to have excellent organizational abilities and a commitment to confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. Your role will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and overall success, as accurate data management is vital in aiding decision-making processes within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update data into databases and systems.
  • Verify and correct data as needed to maintain accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain data files and records to ensure quick retrieval.
  • Perform routine audits of data to ensure it remains current and correct.
  • Prepare reports based on the collected data and assist in data analysis as required.
  • Respond to data inquiries from team members and provide support in data-related tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information according to company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in data management is a plus.
  • Proficient in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy; a typing speed of 50 WPM or more is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and address inquiries.
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is preferred but not mandatory.
