The Role

We are currently searching for Warehouse Workers for our Kitchener Cross Dock. This is a Part-Time opportunity. Starting wage is $17.55/hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product
  • Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
  • Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
  • Ensure the company’s Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
  • Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

  • Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous experience in an operations/warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required

Skills

  • Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability
  • The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills
  • Wages starting at $17.55 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement
