Are you an enthusiastic Performance Engineer with a passion for eCommerce and retail? As a Performance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our software systems run efficiently, reliably, and can handle scaling. You'll work with various teams to analyze, test, optimize, and report on system performance, resolving any bottlenecks or issues.

This 12-month fixed-term role provides an opportunity to improve our products and services using cutting edge technologies. Join our collaborative team as a Performance Engineer with the technology team.

The successful candidate is needed to be located within the Lower Mainland, BC, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks for applications across environments.

  • Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and write performance test plans.

  • Analyse and optimize test results for applications.

  • Automate performance testing and processes.

  • Deploy new and existing applications to the performance testing environment as per the release schedule.



What we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing application performance.

  • 4+ years of experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Neoload, or LoadRunner.

  • 4+ years of experience with performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace or New Relic.

  • 3+ years of experience with OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes.

  • 3+ years of experience with AWS or Azure.

  • 3+ years of experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Git and Jira, or similar tools.

  • 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python or Linux shell.

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux.

  • Proficient in environment and application troubleshooting.

  • Previous knowledge or experience with deployment pipelines.

Annualized base pay range

$100,000.00 - $105,000.00



Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
