Job Description:

Our public sector client is seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Analyst/Scrum Master to join their Digital Solutions team to develop and enhance digital solutions and portals.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and impediments that may impact project timelines.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master in a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
  • Knowledge of UX principles and practices is a plus.
