The Role

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner at the Senior Associate level. As part of the Global Consulting Talent Acquisition team, this individual will support our hiring managers and business unit leadership in identifying, selecting, and hiring best-in-class talent. The team supports hiring in our Consulting business through direct and indirect hires. We are looking for someone with strong recruitment capabilities and previous experience hiring consulting roles at all levels.

You will manage mid to senior level requisitions, interface with sophisticated client groups, and assess and attract candidates in a competitive market, primarily for roles based in the Americas. You will be accountable for your requisitions, ensuring that we meet our internal client expectations, providing diverse slates of candidates, and serving as a team player in building Cognizant’s executive presence to further our company goals.

This individual contributor role requires a high level of personal accountability, ability to execute against multiple competing priorities, and exhibit personal leadership and professionalism at all times. Along with recruitment capabilities, this position demands proactivity, detail orientation, and communication skills, as well as an interest in engaging with experts in their fields. Responsibilities

  • Report to a Recruiting Lead, working within the Global Consulting Talent Acquisition Team aligned to one or more Business Units, ensuring recruitment delivers against corporate objectives.
  • Work with business stakeholders to plan and implement recruitment projects to ensure Cognizant hires the best talent in line with corporate strategy and within pre-agreed project parameters including quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, etc.
  • Source candidates via cost-effective direct channels including personal networking, database mining, employee and alliance partner referrals, and business networking sites like LinkedIn.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and screening to offer extension, acceptance, and hand-off to on-boarding for lateral candidates.
  • Engage external research and recruitment agencies when necessary; manage the agency process as required.
  • Follow processes for Recruitment, HR, and Operations; remain in compliance with talent acquisition and company policies.
  • Create offer approvals, provide documentation, and communicate offers to candidates.
  • Maintain accuracy of data in Applicant Tracking System (ATS); assist in reporting and data integrity.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and transparency throughout the hiring process.
  • Contribute to branding initiatives to attract top talent through social media, recruitment marketing, and career events.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws in all recruitment activities.
  • Work Canada Time Zone hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within search agencies or management consulting; in-house consulting recruitment experience is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of ATS, recruitment tools, and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Job Boards, CRM tools).
  • Experience managing full cycle recruitment including job description creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Experience in creating and executing sourcing strategies, recruitment branding & marketing, and maintaining talent pipeline in national and international markets.
  • Experience engaging talent and assessing competencies; excellent interview skills and usage of interview frameworks.
  • Ability to strategically set targets and prioritize based on market insights.
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed on new markets and run a thorough search process.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build productive partnerships with other recruiters, sourcing experts, and candidates.
  • French Language proficiency preferred.
  • Remote with travel required to local recruiting events and office, as needed.
