Summary of the role

The Logistics Analyst reports to the Manager, Logistics Projects in the Logistics and Client Operations team.

Your responsibilities as a Logistics Analyst:

  • Analyze, validate, process, and interpret complex data from cross-functional partners to develop solutions and optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze and create tools for the Logistics and Client Operations team.
  • Create, maintain, and produce metrics and reports related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Reporting should drive accountability for appropriate functional operational teams to improve processes and create positive KPI trends.
  • Review logistics processes and procedures; recommend and implement improvements to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Contribute as a key stakeholder in continuous improvement and productivity projects.
  • Support cross-functional planning and gather key data to meet customer and business needs.
  • Assist key stakeholders with ad hoc analysis.

Required competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and provide formal recommendations for improvement.
  • Understanding of transportation and warehousing demand and supply impacts on customer orders.
  • Experience in modeling operational scenarios using MS Excel.
  • Competence in managing large data sets with MS Office and Tableau/Power BI.
  • Experience with Snowflake, data visualization, and transformation tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Proven business knowledge and organizational awareness.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
  • Motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
