Summary of the role
The Logistics Analyst reports to the Manager, Logistics Projects in the Logistics and Client Operations team.
Your responsibilities as a Logistics Analyst:
- Analyze, validate, process, and interpret complex data from cross-functional partners to develop solutions and optimization opportunities.
- Analyze and create tools for the Logistics and Client Operations team.
- Create, maintain, and produce metrics and reports related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting should drive accountability for appropriate functional operational teams to improve processes and create positive KPI trends.
- Review logistics processes and procedures; recommend and implement improvements to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize costs.
- Contribute as a key stakeholder in continuous improvement and productivity projects.
- Support cross-functional planning and gather key data to meet customer and business needs.
- Assist key stakeholders with ad hoc analysis.
Required competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
- Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and provide formal recommendations for improvement.
- Understanding of transportation and warehousing demand and supply impacts on customer orders.
- Experience in modeling operational scenarios using MS Excel.
- Competence in managing large data sets with MS Office and Tableau/Power BI.
- Experience with Snowflake, data visualization, and transformation tools.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Proven business knowledge and organizational awareness.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
- Motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
