Yardstick Technologies, founded in 2008, leads IT outsourcing for small and medium businesses in Western Canada. We help businesses make smart technology decisions to further their strategies. Our fixed-fee services include managed IT solutions, cloud computing, Backup and Disaster Recovery, IT strategy, and consulting. What You’ll Be Doing: As the Director of Customer Success, you will be spearheading our Proactive Team, which includes Account Executives (vCIOs) and Technical Account Managers. The Proactive team is responsible for creating customer strategy and implementing technologies that drive the customer’s business. You are responsible for the success of your team, high customer satisfaction, strong customer retention, and high employee engagement.

This role requires a data-driven individual who can build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, ensuring their needs are met and engagement is high.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Address client issues with speed and urgency working with internal teams across the company as appropriate.
  • Develop sales opportunities through existing clients by gaining their buy-in and trust.
  • Keep on top of daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Manage, lead, and hold Proactive Team accountable for daily responsibilities and KPIs.
  • Prepare thoroughly each morning before the daily huddle to ensure a productive start to the day.
  • Engage with clients after hours to build strong relationships and drive sales.

What We’re Looking For

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology (preferred but not required).
  • Drivers license is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical or IT role, providing a solid foundation in understanding the technical aspects of the business.
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership positions, demonstrating the ability to manage teams, drive strategic initiatives, and make impactful decisions.
  • Strong foundation in IT sales, including familiarity with the language and terminology used in the industry. This experience should enable effective communication with sales teams and clients, understanding their needs, and driving sales strategies.
  • Ability to travel occasionally throughout Western Canada.
