Your Tasks:

  • Work in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, R&D and EHS to improve manufacturing process to increase efficiency and productivity, guaranteeing quality and safety requirements are met.
  • Develop, revise and re-write Standard Operational Procedures.
  • Analyze production processes to identify sources of waste, applying various analysis methods, including time studies, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis, to optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Develop solutions based on lean principles to eliminate non-value-added activities, ensuring efficiency and productivity improvements.
  • Define and develop new processes, devices and tools focused on shopfloor efficiency and capacity increase.
  • Coordinate internal project teams in the identification, design, and delivery of process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for both Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) projects.
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure all project requirements are met within the expected timelines and budget constraints.
  • Support audit and trials through data and process analysis, documenting findings and preparing reports.
  • Other duties as required.


Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable to work in a manufacturing environment, be creative and have initiative to implement new ideas/projects.
  • University degree or Technologist Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in industrial engineering/process engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated and are able to work independently.
  • Previous project management experience is an asset.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, exhibiting a strong sense of urgency.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SAP are required.
