We are looking for a Sales focused, Account Executive to join BrokerLink to work in our Barrie or Aurora offices, on a Permanent Basis.

What the Role Entails:

  • Sell commercial insurance policies
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and prospect list
  • Networking at events and business to business functions to drive leads
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, including visiting customer sites
  • Keep abreast of market knowledge, products, and pricing issues and opportunities
  • Prepare proposals, and arrange for account placement with the insurance carriers
  • Gather and document relevant information to ensure the customer receives the appropriate coverage's and service
  • Maintain good quality in the book of business by adhering to underwriting rules and good business practices
  • Arrange payment terms for new business sales and the timely collection of payments
  • Support customers with the claims process
  • Travel in and out of town

The Successful candidate will have:

  • If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please apply*
  • High school and/or post-secondary education
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License
  • RIBO License is required
  • Ideally have one or more of CRM, CIP, FCIP, CAIB or CCIB
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years’ commercial insurance sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ selling experience
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
