Who You Are:
Ground Effects is currently searching for a Human Resources Administrator to support our team in Windsor, Ontario. The position of HR Admin consists of performing all aspects of the human resources functions including; HRIS administration, internal and external recruitment, onboarding, orientation, employee engagement, employee relations and internal investigations.
Requirements:
- College Diploma or University Degree
- 3 years in HR field
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills.
- Detail-oriented, must be able to multi-task
- Maintain a valid US Driver’s License.
- Must be Bilingual-Spanish
- HRIS system
Responsibilities:
- HRIS administration functions and training of the system.
- Review timecards for accurate hours and time off codes.
- Attendance record keeping and maintenance.
- Vacation function and tracking.
- Train as required HRIS systems and functions.
- Assist with recruitment functions, job posting, conduct interviews, onboarding and orientation.
- Create offer letters, status change, promotion, demotion and layoff letters.
- Coordinate with Temp Agencies as required.
- Conduct or assist with monthly training requirements.
- Orientation functions for new employees.
- General employees file and tracking systems.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality as it pertains to employment law and employee records.
- Assist Benefits department with WSIB / STD / LTD leaves.
- Assist with employee relations and engagement.
- Ordering & inventory of all engagement items.
- Promote / participate in employee engagement activities.
- Assist Health and Safety Team training and scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.
