Who You Are:

Ground Effects is currently searching for a Human Resources Administrator to support our team in Windsor, Ontario. The position of HR Admin consists of performing all aspects of the human resources functions including; HRIS administration, internal and external recruitment, onboarding, orientation, employee engagement, employee relations and internal investigations.

Requirements:

  • College Diploma or University Degree
  • 3 years in HR field
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.
  • Detail-oriented, must be able to multi-task
  • Maintain a valid US Driver’s License.
  • Must be Bilingual-Spanish
  • HRIS system

Responsibilities:

  • HRIS administration functions and training of the system.
  • Review timecards for accurate hours and time off codes.
  • Attendance record keeping and maintenance.
  • Vacation function and tracking.
  • Train as required HRIS systems and functions.
  • Assist with recruitment functions, job posting, conduct interviews, onboarding and orientation.
  • Create offer letters, status change, promotion, demotion and layoff letters.
  • Coordinate with Temp Agencies as required.
  • Conduct or assist with monthly training requirements.
  • Orientation functions for new employees.
  • General employees file and tracking systems.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality as it pertains to employment law and employee records.
  • Assist Benefits department with WSIB / STD / LTD leaves.
  • Assist with employee relations and engagement.
  • Ordering & inventory of all engagement items.
  • Promote / participate in employee engagement activities.
  • Assist Health and Safety Team training and scheduling.
  • Other duties as assigned.
