We are looking for a Customer Service Consultant superstar and join our Pet Insurance Customer Service Team in Hamilton, to join on a 12 month parental leave contract.

You will have a professional and proactive nature, coupled with strong attention to detail that enables you to make strong decisions.

You will manage an inbound queue and assist our customers with their pets insurance by:

  • Assisting customers with various queries by answering inbound phone calls
  • Making outbound calls to our customers
  • Replying to online enquires (emails) from our customers
  • Assisting customers with all aspects of our Southern Cross Pet Insurance website
  • Ensuring all forms of contact information for our customers are correct and updated as necessary
  • Having a real passion for the care of our customers and their pets

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years Customer Service experience with a great phone manner
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals and departments
  • An agile mindset along with a flexible and adaptive work ethic
  • An eye for detail, with the focus to double checking work to ensure accuracy
  • Strong customer focus with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings
  • Develop effective relationships across the organisation with all levels of employees
  • Shows initiative and takes responsibility for own actions
  • Seeks opportunities to improve work procedures and processes
  • Most of all a lover of all pets big or small
