Job Description
We are seeking a Conveyancer or Legal Assistant with a passion for building their career in conveyancing. Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-office conveyancing support with a reasonable file load.
- Manage real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in document preparation and submission.
- Utilize software programs such as NetDocuments, Soluno, and Appara (or comparable programs) to manage files and complete tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, realtors, lenders, and team members to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Maintain organization and attention to detail across multiple files and deadlines.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technology, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Previous experience in conveyancing or legal assistance is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with NetDocuments, Soluno, and Appara is helpful but not essential-training can be provided.
- Excellent client-focused communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Comfort with multiple computer programs and a willingness to learn new systems.
- A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Must be able to work on-site and eligible to work in Canada.
- Competitive salary within the range of $45,000 - $70,000, based on experience and qualifications.
