Personal Support Worker (25-0000142)

Bargaining Unit: UNIFOR-HOSPITAL

Status: Part Time TEMPORARY

Department: Geriatric Assessment Rehab Care

Site: St. Joseph's Hospital

Shifts: Days including weekends

Rate of Pay: $28.884 - $29.493 per hour

Number of positions: 2

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates must possess a HCA or PSW certificate
• Experience working with elderly clients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in a long term care setting or with an alternate level of care population an asset
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Condition of Employment

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
