EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - HUMAN RESOURCES (Ex empt )

School District No. 35 (Langley) is looking for a talented Executive Assistant Human Resources (Exempt) to join the District's existing team of leaders who work collaboratively to maintain a healthy, safe, and positive learning environment for all students and staff.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Deputy Superintendent and Director, Human Resources, the Executive Assistant role is primarily responsible for performing a variety of complex confidential clerical and administrative duties: managing sensitive correspondence and communications, organizing and maintaining confidential document filing and record-keeping, managing calendars, coordinating activities and scheduling meetings, and researching and preparing information on assigned files and projects. Through this work in this role, the Executive Assistant, HR will be handling administrative projects that have a direct impact on students, staff, and the community, and will leave a legacy for future generations.

What You Bring
- Completion of post-secondary courses in Business Administration and have five (5) years of related experience such as supporting a leadership team in a confidential environment.
- You will also possess exemplary computer skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, planning, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- A proven ability to take initiative and work independently under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proven understanding and demonstration of discretion in dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature
- Represent the values, mandate, and policies of the Human Resources Department.
- Valid BC Driver's License and reliable transportation
