Project Planner

We are currently seeking a Project Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and improve governance, processes, methods, and tools for bid and project management.
• Provide support and expertise within the scope of bid/project management.
• Coach and challenge teams within the area of expertise.
• Organize dedicated meetings with the core team.
• Produce and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Participate in progress meetings, bid reviews, and project reviews as required.
• Capitalize on best practices and propose recommendations and improvements.
• Share and disseminate best practices across the organization.
• Depending on specialization, contribute to structuring, scheduling, estimating, risk and opportunity management, execution, and reporting.
• For planning specialization:
• Identify deliverables and track their progress throughout the project, rescheduling as necessary.
• Implement assessment processes for bid/project performance monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
• Expertise in planning, risk management, cost estimation, or data management.
• Ability to analyze and interpret KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management or a PMO role.
• Experience working in aerospace, defence, or a related industry is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or other scheduling tools.
• Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
