IMT ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR (2 POSITIONS):

$53,757.49 - $60,889.00 Annually

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager, Program and Business Operations, the IMT Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating the administrative aspects of the Information Management & Technology (IMD department. He/She/They provides support in processing financial transactions, creating and processing purchase orders, handling incoming contract requisitions, and organizing and maintaining departmental documentation. The position also involves monitoring and maintaining !MT-related telecommunications systems to ensure proper functionality, coordinating with vendors and IMT teams for the procurement of IMT equipment, and collecting and organizing data to compile reports that improve departmental performance.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The successful candidate will have the following:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or another relevant field.
  • Sound experience in IMT Administration, invoicing, procurement, reporting, and accounts payable.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Sound practical knowledge of program/project, accounting, and contract administration, including invitational and public procurement, and tendering practices.
  • Sound knowledge of IT systems, networks and software applications.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Suite (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and other relevant applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Good analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong initiative, follow-through skills, and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to read and review tender documents, change orders, and other contract documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and function effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, managing simultaneous priorities and time pressures without compromising the quality of the work.
  • Ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, and good judgment when dealing with a broad range of audiences.
  • Ability to find and implement creative and practical solutions to problems.
