About The Role

As ATB Financial’s next Manager, Office of the CEO, you’re a dynamic individual with an exceptional attention to detail, a track record of building strong reputations for Executive offices, and a talent for building strong relationships across all levels of the organization and beyond. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in various operational and strategic initiatives under the guidance of the Vice President, Office of the CEO and with direct support to the President & CEO. You will manage projects from initiation to implementation and coordinate ongoing activities related to business planning, people management initiatives, and cross-functional engagement.

Accountabilities

  • First point of contact for stakeholders and executive partners across ATB and will be required to leverage your problem solving, resourcefulness and decision making skills to progress work and engage the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Operate in a matrix-environment, understanding how to leverage your network of peers, teams, partners, vendors etc to reach the required outcome of the project or initiative.
  • Oversee all administrative and coordination tasks related to SLT and Board of Director deliverables for the Chief Executive Officer and the Vice President, Office of the CEO. This includes calendar management, participation in key events, email correspondence as well as managing quarterly board reports, annual compensation activities, and ongoing business and operational planning efforts.
  • Be proactive by planning meetings and appropriate activities in service to the annual planning calendar for strategy, operations and other initiatives by arranging and facilitating meetings with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Implement systems and processes that will help the Office of the CEO run smoothly and effectively day-day, including assigning deadlines for key materials, ensuring adequate preparation time for key events and showcasing new technology and processes to create efficiencies within the Office.
  • Manage and monitor discretionary spending for the Office of the CEO to maintain adherence to financial plans.
  • Management of team member focused programs. You will provide guidance from a centralized, aligned lens to business coordinators, PCBC and Finance to ensure a seamless and consistent experience. Examples include: EDH Program including President’s League and quarterly awards process, ATB 101 and On-Boarding.
  • Informal leadership role of influencing and advising the organization’s EA and business coordinator network by leveraging enterprise learning programs and development opportunities and ensure strong collaboration and information-sharing across this network.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Considered an asset, but not required, Bachelor degree. Specialization in Business Administration or Event Management preferred
  • Considered an asset, but not required, a certification in at least one industry accepted project management standard (e.g. CAPM, CPM, CompTIA+, PMP etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure
