How you will make an impact
As a Hearing Care Practitioner, you will perform industrial testing and participate in outreach events to grow the partner development umbrella initiatives. In the Clinical Outreach Specialist role you will also organize, facilitate and deliver results aligned with the organization's overall business strategy.
Please note, the successful candidate can be located out of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario or Saskatchewan
Event Management
As the Clinical Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for the following areas around event management:
- Create presentations for both potential partners & member groups
- Attend events for all partner development programs
- Pharmacy – attend hearing health events, track appointments
- Represent HearingLife at public speaking events to promote hearing health care, hearing awareness & hearing prevention
- Partner talks – attending local events for any affinity partner group – providing support to partners to share information and value of the services provided by HearingLife
- Present workplace toolbox talks to local unions & industrial employers – develop hearing health & safety information, related to noise protection & hearing conservation
- Act as a HearingLife Ambassador by living the brand and its values in every interaction
- Tracking of event initiatives – follow up the appointments generated and monitor and report the success & ROI of each event
Partnership Development and Program Development Support
As the Clinical Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for the following areas around Partnership Development and Program Development Support:
Partnership Development
- Research & advocate to expand both local and national partner development opportunities
- Provide relevant information to existing industrial companies about custom noise protection
- Audit partner results and provide quarterly reports
Program Development Support
- Provide support for Outreach, Hearing Safety Program, Affinity Partnerships, Pharmacy Program - 4 buckets
- Manage Freshdesk inquiries for 4 buckets
- Create industrial company accounts in BluePrint and provide annual revised requisitions
- Participate and collaborate on ideas for partner development outreach & implementation & training
- List of potential targets
- Prepare a vetting process to determine the needs and potential program structures
- Build relevant marketing materials that meet the information needs of each unique group
- Build a presentation package/kit to be able to bring HL specific information to all potential businesses and partners
- Provide staff support & training for 4 buckets
What You'll Bring
Education - Hearing Care Practitioner degree & willingness to certify as an Industrial Audiometric Technician (where provincial legislation requires)
Communication skills - Outstanding public speaking skills, ability to clearly communicate & articulate key ideas and concepts, be comfortable working with an older age demographic to understand their unique healthcare needs
Business Outcomes - Linking actions to business outcomes & tracking and monitoring results
Computer and system skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe & Blueprint
Organizational skills - Can manage multiple tasks to meet objectives and critical deadlines; able to execute plan
Schedule & Travel Flexibility - Extensive travel in territory, fly to attend large conferences, weekends and extended overnight stays required
