Job Description
A Category Manager is responsible for providing administrative and operational support by way of expediting and inventory management for Chandler. These individuals are expected to work closely with sales, sales support, and the operations team. Responsible for assortment, inbound freight costs, negotiating cost of goods and project management.

A Category Manager is responsible for providing administrative and operational support by way of expediting and inventory management for Chandler. These individuals are expected to work closely with sales, sales support, and the operations team. Responsible for assortment, inbound freight costs, negotiating cost of goods and project management.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts and discount structure with vendor
- Manage assortment and negotiate inbound freight costs
- Provide Coaching and Mentoring for Buyers
- Manage Basware for vendor invoice reconciliations. Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal customers in a timely, accurate manner. Maintain vendor summaries and contact lists.
- Participate in/support continuous improvement initiatives (within Purchasing or Chandler). Required to create any new documentation required and maintain all existing documentation.
- University Degree
- 5 Years experience
