Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the development of the project control plan, including the creation of project estimates, control budgets, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Track and monitor forecasts at completion, incurred costs, and budgets, providing variance analysis and explanations.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement with project progress, changes, highlights, and issues. Communicate status and issues with the execution and construction teams.
- Proactively report cost status and efficiently communicate any risks and mitigation plans with the Project Manager (PM), Construction Manager (CM), and project control supervisor.
- Implement Earned Value Management, ensuring accurate Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Earned Value curves are reported.
- Implement change management processes, initiate Project Change Orders (PCOs), trends, and Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) revisions. Support supplemental funding requests.
- Post-secondary education in engineering or construction. Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction, including relevant experience in solar or wind projects.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interaction skills in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills using Ecosys, Oracle, Power BI, and Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
