Job Description

Kent Building Supplies is seeking a strong candidate in Moncton, NB to fill an immediate opening for a Corporate Training Coordinator. This position will be based on-site at our Training facilities in Moncton NB and will support Training & Development corporately for Kent Building Supplies.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Human Resources and Operations teams, the Corporate Training Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of training programs across the organization by coordinating and executing program logistics, organizing necessary materials, providing administrative support, and working with key stakeholders to plan and execute training, including but not limited to:
  • Scheduling training events
  • Booking travel for training participants
  • Arranging catering for training events
  • Billing affiliate businesses who rent the facilities
  • Maintaining the training facilities
  • Supporting the Enterprise LMS (learning management system) for the Retail division, working closely with HR and Safety to ensure person records are up to date and match/align with requirements in the Learning system for the Enterprise.
  • Responsibilities for managing corporate training expenses such as tracking expenditures, managing budget and processing payments to vendors.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Aptitude for software and systems is required; previous experience in learning management systems would be an asset.
  • Ability to multitask while managing routine work and deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
