Job Summary

We are seeking energetic, positive and hospitality driven people to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a genuine love for hospitality, enjoys engaging with guests thrives in a fast-paced upscale dining environment, and is committed to continuous improvement. With a strong background in food and wine, this individual should have at last 5 years of experience in providing top-notch service in a similar setting.

Responsibilties

Guest Engagement

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Foster a positive and inviting atmosphere, ensuring guests feel comfortable and valued

throughout their dining experience.

  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly and courteously.

Service Excellence

  • Provide exemplary service by delivering orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the menu, including food and beverage offerings, to guide guests through their selections.

Maintain a keen awareness of dining room flow and collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service.

Feedback and Continuous Improvement

  • Actively seek and welcome feedback from guests, understanding that constructive criticism is essential for personal and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to implement feedback and continuously enhance service quality.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of service.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient work environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a server in a fast-paced upscale dining establishment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of food and wine, including pairings and service techniques.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Open to receiving and implementing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideal candidate must be available to work weekends and holidays. Must be available to work at a minimum 2-3 days per week.

This is a unionized position paying a wage of $19.45 per hour to start + gratuities
