The Team:

As a member of the Counterparty Credit Risk technology team, you will be part of a team responsible for managing and supporting key credit risk application. Members of the team have responsibilities ranging from discussing new intake requests, documentation of solutions to existing issues, and participating in designing and developing strategic enhancements to the bank’s Risk technology platforms. We are looking for a Business Analyst Specialist.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain a broad range of experience across different applications within credit risk and market risk applications
  • Work closely with the business teams to solicit and capture business and technology requirements and use cases.
  • Lead the intake process with the stakeholders, and Technology teams, reviewing requirements, scope to enable teams to provide work estimation.
  • Generate business requirements and documents that align to the policies to ensure that the new technology meets the needs of the business lines
  • Collaborate actively with the delivery team to prioritize back log and solution discovery ensuring ongoing management of sprints
  • Work alongside developers and business teams to develop functions or technical requirements for new features, corrections and upstream changes
  • Design functional test cases and carry out the testing independently concurrently with development.
  • Provide technical solutions when needed and can contribute to code for smaller modules with minimum guidance
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills when conducting and facilitating interactions with stakeholders and management
  • Exercise initiative and sound judgment in the execution of project plans and schedules.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • 5+ years of Business analysis experience on a technology or application support team
  • Experience working within Capital Markets or Risk IT projects
  • Experience with test case design, integration testing, and regression testing
  • Previous experience with and knowledge of SDLC
  • Experience with Unix, Python and SQL (Postgres)
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
