What You'll Do

  • Assisting with court transcription orders.
  • Delivery of transcripts which includes printing the transcripts, binding and hand delivering the transcripts to the courthouse.
  • Inputting important information into a spreadsheet regarding the production of each audio recording received, transcriptionist information, and delivery of same.
  • Downloading and checking new jobs coming in (correct audio and time estimates).
  • Reviewing transcripts.
  • Receive Parole Board requests.
  • Receive and download audio/paperwork. Review paperwork and audio.
  • Enter requests into tracking sheet.
  • Assign work to transcriptionists and upload.
  • Received completed transcripts and review for completion.
  • Create PDF document of transcript.
  • Email transcripts weekly to Saskatchewan Penitentiary.
  • Advise invoicing of page counts.

Who You Are

  • 1+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Ability to communicate with all members of the public, government personnel, transcriptionists, and clients.
  • Knowledge of numerous programs including, Access, Word, PDF, Excel is an asset
  • Be courteous and helpful to all office staff, and any outside parties, including clients.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous customer service is an asset.

The compensation range noted above represents the expected base pay compensation range for this role. Ultimately, a number of factors including, but not limited to, your prior job-related knowledge and experience, geographic location, and qualifications will be considered when determining your pay and we may pay more or less than the posted range.
