The Specialty Support Representative III is responsible for processing payments and providing exceptional support to UKG customers using the Canada Payment Services product. Reporting to the Manager, Specialty Product Support, this role ensures accurate payroll tax remittances and compliance while addressing customer concerns effectively.
**This is a hybrid role. The employee will be expected to work 3 days/week onsite at a Canada based UKG office**
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process payroll tax data and resolve customer concerns via email and cases within SLAs.
- Reconcile tax data to ensure accurate remittances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Treasury, Customer Success, Product Development).
- Support new customer onboarding to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Address urgent payroll tax funding issues with customers.
- Maintains awareness of SOC 1 controls and accountable for compliance at each task performed
- Builds relationships of trust, respect and partnership with client contacts by providing exceptional client service
- Maintain high-level awareness of client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and executes to meet their requirement
- Run variance reports and review the accuracy of the payroll data along with individual transactions input
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Payroll, Financial Services Operations, or Support Operations
- 2+ years of experience working at a service bureau or with Year-End Filing for Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec.
- Experience in payroll and payroll tax filing
- Proficient in using PC with MS Office applications especially Word and Excel
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting or related field
- Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly motivated and team oriented with ability to collaborate and effectively work within cross functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Experience working with UKG Pro suite of products
- Bilingual communication skills in English and French
- Experience with Salesforce and SQL
- Adaptability to dynamic business needs
