Flexible Casual/Part-Time Role

Wage: $30.18 per hour, plus km allowance for travel between clients (where applicable)

Location of Work: Brantford and surrounding Brant County areas

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide comprehensive and specialized wound care for our clients to ensure they receive the highest quality health care they deserve in the comfort and safety of their homes
• This position requires travel throughout Brantford and Brant County for client visits.
• Visits will be between the hours of 9am and 9pm, with flexibility for evenings and weekends
• This position utilizes a wide range of clinical skills, including but not limited to palliative, pediatric, wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching towards chronic disease prevention.
• You will teach and delegate tasks and functions to various levels of staff and client family members while maintaining our industry’s highest level of practice.  
• You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be more focused on care time and less travel time.

Education

• Completion of CNA-accredited SWAN Program
• Graduate from an accredited/recognized School of Nursing (evidence required)
• Current RPN or LPN registration (in good standing) with the applicable provincial licensing body
• Valid CPR certification
  
  

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  
  

Candidates who have been offered a position are required to provide:

• A clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening,
• Proof of being free from TB
• Two supervisory references
