Job Description:
Lead review and coordination of internal and external audits or examinations in support of the 1 st line and vendor management activities across the Bank (i.e., compliance, second line, Internal Audit and regulatory exams).
Provide oversight and management of concurrent and complex audits and ensure completion for multiple business groups and exam topics relating to third party risk management. You should have a strong understanding of third party risk management standards and processes, and be knowledgeable about the financial industry landscape and current market trends.
- Act as a specialized resource on internal/external audits and exams to provide subject matter expertise for planning, risk assessment, and execution of audits.
- Coordinate and manage audit and exam activities that require alignment across multiple areas and execute timely and quality responses to audit or exam information requests.
- Provide ongoing communication and reporting with the first line and vendor management teams and leadership regarding status, potential issues, and recommendations.
- Review and approve responses and artefacts prior to submission to internal audit or TD exam management team with timely review from appropriate stakeholders.
- Frame appropriate responses and submissions to internal audits and external exams.
- Develop and manage remediation and action plans in response to findings from internal audits and regulatory reviews.
- Keep current on emerging trends and evolving regulatory requirements to find opportunities and recommend improvements to senior management.
