Northern Lights Public Schools invites applications for the following position:

S2425-48 Concession / Cafeteria Worker - Cold Lake High School

This is a part-time temporary position commencing as soon as possible. The assignment involves providing food services and maintaining the school cafeteria as a safe and sanitary environment under the direct supervision of the School Administration. This position has a commitment of 3 hours per day, between 10AM and 1:00PM, 4 weekdays per week.

Cold Lake High School is located in the City of Cold Lake with approximately 624 students in grades 10-12. Cold Lake High School is innovative, collaborative and passionate in the delivery of high quality education to every student.

Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To

• Preparation of healthy and nutritious meals adhering to Alberta Nutrition Guidelines for Children and Youth, support serving lunches to students and completion of daily clean-up
• Maintain a sanitary work and food prep area as prescribed by all Alberta standards, including Alberta Health Services (AHS) and ensure all major cleaning is completed as scheduled
  
  

Preference Will Be Given To Applicants Who Have

• Proven ability to prioritize task and carry out instructions necessary to complete assignments
• Experience as a Cafeteria Worker, Food Handler or Chef is not required but would be considered an asset
• Valid certification in Food Safety Course, Alberta Health Services (this can be completed upon hire)
