What you will do:

  • Perform all tasks according to policies and standard operating procedures
  • Fill variety of prescriptions accurately and efficiently to maintain workflow
  • Preparing blister packs for unit dose and multi-dose
  • Prepare non-sterile compounds as per the Standards
  • Deliver completed products based on the schedules
  • Package multi-dose strips on PACMED
  • Maintain and monitor adequate inventory level, identify shrink and overage
  • Scan each prescription accurately, package as per the guidelines and deliver them timely.
  • Synchronize and collaborates with other team members to ensure medications are dispensed as prescribed and follow up on outstanding issues regularly
  • Perform other pharmacy duties as assigned in a priority sequence

  • Demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Take initiative with positive attitude and accountability
  • Ability to recognize liability on the outcomes of service provided
  • Ability to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of time
  • Must follow all corporate regulations, policies and procedures and meet deadlines
  • Exposure to Pharmacy environment (Retail, Hospital or Long-Term Care)
  • Pharmacy Technician Diploma from accredited college, but not required

This role requires employees to be flexible to work a variety of shifts during the business’ hours of operations, which include occasional weekend shifts and statutory holidays.
