Are you a recruiter with a passion for finding top talent? We’re looking for an experienced Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the staffing of our new die plant. This 4-to-6 month contract role requires a self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys networking, and is comfortable managing the full-cycle recruitment process. From attending career fairs to sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates, you’ll play a critical role in building our team. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles in the new die plant.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for both skilled trades and professional positions.
  • Attend career fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate outreach, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on best hiring practices.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and track progress.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes such as background checks, references, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges, trade schools, and community organizations to support hiring efforts.
  • Ensure a smooth candidate experience by providing clear communication and timely follow-ups.

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in manufacturing, skilled trades, or industrial settings.
  • Strong background in sourcing, screening, and hiring for high-volume recruitment projects.
  • Experience attending career fairs, networking events, and building external partnerships to attract talent.
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage recruitment activities without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools; SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Knowledge of local labor market trends and best practices in recruitment strategies.
  • Experience coordinating pre-employment processes such as background checks and onboarding.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple hiring needs efficiently.
  • Previous experience in contract or project-based recruitment is a plus.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
