The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the Earnix project, focusing on supporting regular platform improvement, training & support, and user communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

What you'll do:

Regular Platform Improvement

  • Track users' Wishlist: Track and manage users' Wishlist items in preparation for management prioritization.
  • Conduct improvement testing: Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in the improvement build process. Communicate findings and provide updates in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain Python library: Develop and maintain a Python library for standard codes used across all regions, channels, and products.

Training and Support

  • Collect and analyze user feedback: Gather feedback from sentiment and training surveys to identify key insights and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze training data: Evaluate data to measure the effectiveness of training materials and gauge competency levels among Earnix users in PI Pricing. Identify learning gaps, assess training effectiveness, and provide early indicators for additional support needs.
  • Address basic inquiries: Respond to basic inquiries from Earnix users submitted via a support ticket system.

Communication

  • Prepare Earnix Committee materials: Assist in compiling and preparing materials for the Earnix Committee, which provides strategic direction, prioritizes projects, reviews sentiment updates, discusses risks, and fosters engagement with senior leaders.
  • Create monthly communications: Develop monthly communications for Earnix users, including best practices, tips, and success stories.
  • Monitor department email inbox: Oversee and manage the department email inbox to ensure timely responses to user inquiries related to Earnix. Create support tickets as needed.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAS, Python).
  • Experience with rating algorithms and premium reconciliation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the Earnix platform or similar pricing software is a plus.
