About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Senior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will support financial forecasting, budgeting, management reporting processes, ad-hoc business analysis, and providing insights through KPIs and dashboards that drive strategic decisions. This role is suitable for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a passion for numbers, analysis, and planning.

The role is located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
• Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results against forecasts and budget
• Providing analysis of key trends or variances.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.
• Support scenario planning and ad hoc financial analysis to guide decision-making.
• Monitor expenses and provide recommendations for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
• Calculate and process monthly sales commissions
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial systems and BI tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the company’s performance.
  
  

What You'll Need To Bring To Maropost

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and corporate finance (SaaS experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Powerpoint and building executive-level presentations
• Experience with financial software, ERP systems, and BI tools (Experience with Stripe, NetSuite, and Power BI).
• Experience with CRM Software (Experience in Salesforce and HubSpot would be advantageous).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
