Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Transformation, the successful candidate will be responsible for improving our capabilities in business process management, which includes both process performance and maturity to support achievement of business growth strategies.

About The Team
Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have two state-of-the-art potato processing plants in PEI, one in Lethbridge, AB and another in Jamestown, ND. Headquartered in Dieppe, NB, the company also operates an appetizer plant in Wheatley, ON and has sales office locations in Toronto and Boston. Reporting to the Director, Transformation, the successful candidate will be responsible for improving our capabilities in business process management, which includes both process performance and maturity to support achievement of business growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Improve our organizational capability in business process management, which includes both process performance and maturity to support achievement of business growth.
- Develop common process KPI framework and dashboarding. Analyze and report on process data, including adherence to standards. Ensure quality and integrity of the Cavendish Farms Architecture
- Facilitate process/stakeholder assessments, process change projects and associated activities, including analyzing, then improving or redesign of processes through to creation or updating of documentation and KPIs
- Support process promotions across the organization to ensure employees are educated on Cavendish Farms/JD Irving process models, how roles and responsibilities tie into, etc
- University degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or other related field, considered an asset.
- 7 + years’ experience in Leadership in business or preferably manufacturing; food manufacturing preferred
- Experience coaching/leading improvement efforts at a site or organizational level
- Continuous Improvement experience or certification: Belt training (Lean Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt) related certifications/experience
- Change Management Experience and Certification – Prosci preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team;
