Video Assistant, Hamilton Tiger-Cats (Football Operations)
General Overview
This role supports the Video Coordinator in preparing for meetings, practices, and games by filming all practices and home games, setting up equipment, and collaborating with coaches and scouting staff. Responsibilities And Duties
- Assist the Video Coordinator with preparation for meetings, practices, and games.
- Film all practices and home games.
- Set up and prepare equipment before meetings and post-practice.
- Collaborate with coaches and scouting staff on various tasks, including data entry.
- Perform additional football operations tasks as needed.
- Physical Requirements: the ability to climb, stand, stoop, and type; must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
- Experience with cameras, filming, and video editing.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Football Operations, Scouting, or Coaching.
- Working knowledge of football, specifically within the CFL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Candidates with a strong inclination towards technology are preferred.
- University/College degree or in the process of attaining a degree.
- Will be expected to work all games in some capacity.
- Will be expected to have access to a vehicle at all times.
