About Private Client Advice

Private Client Advice (PCA) offers an insurance service that appreciates our client's efforts to build their prized assets, which may include everything from cars and properties to wine, jewelry, or art. PCA provides a bespoke insurance experience tailored for our clients, ensuring their assets are fully protected.

Job Responsibilities

The PCA Group Manager leads a team of senior insurance advisors and is accountable for ensuring effective and efficient operations, delivering services in accordance with established service levels, quality standards, compliance, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and lead team performance to meet customer and partner expectations.
  • Ensure teams effectively manage the customer/partner problem resolution process.
  • Lead the negotiation and resolution of significant customer issues.
  • Ensure the achievement of team, business, and Customer Experience goals by coaching/modeling CEI attributes and behaviors.
  • Provide input into research, development, and implementation of new processes, technologies, or operating models, evaluate impacts of new strategies.
  • Act as escalation point for significant risk matters/exceptions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of retention strategies that produce a positive client experience while ensuring profitable growth.
  • Ensure appropriate models are in place to optimize customer segmentation.
  • Work with internal and external partners.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • 7+ years experience, with preference servicing Private Client Services clients as an Underwriter or Broker.
  • Underwriting exposure is preferred.
  • Provincial License required.
  • Willingness to be licensed in other provinces and/or territories.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven sales ability to round out accounts.
  • Commitment to delivering professionalism and expertise to clients.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Robust background in Insurance.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record of prospecting new clients.
  • Strong Insurance knowledge across all asset classes.
  • Ability to engage in a thorough client discovery process and identify opportunities for partner referrals.
  • Confidence in establishing and managing relationships with sophisticated clients.
  • Proven personal credibility and accountability.
  • Passion for creating a legendary client experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
