We're seeking someone to join the WM Monitoring team as a UI Developer in the Non-Financial Risk Technology department to have strong design and coding skills, who will work with Risk and Compliance and have comprehensive knowledge in software design, front-end and Back-end development.
In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Software Eng III position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What You’ll Do In The Role
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Back-end development tasks using Java and related technologies.
- Work with relational database using SQL.
- Collaborate with Back-end developers to integrate APIs and services.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
- 3 + years of hands-on software development experience in Java ecosystem
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Angular
- Build tools such as Webpack, npm, and Node.js.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Experience with related Back-end technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, JDBC).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with linting tools and code quality practices.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering and client-side performance optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
