Overview
Match Retail is looking for a highly motivated and innovative Talent Acquisition Manager & Strategist to lead and transform our recruitment efforts. In this role, you will create, implement, and optimize recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top-tier talent across the organization. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and hiring managers to anticipate talent needs, drive employer branding initiatives, and ensure that our talent acquisition process aligns with evolving market demands.
As a successful candidate, you will deliver results in a timely manner, continuously improve processes, explore new talent sourcing channels, and adopt a data-driven approach to recruitment. You will also manage a team of recruiters, providing direction and support to ensure that the recruitment strategy is effectively executed.

You will also manage a team of recruiters, providing direction and support to ensure that the recruitment strategy is effectively executed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies Create talent acquisition plans that align with business goals, identify top sourcing channels, and ensure the attraction of high-quality candidates.
- Build and Maintain Talent Pipelines Proactively establish a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles through diverse sourcing techniques, including digital platforms and in-person events.
- Employer Branding Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to strengthen and promote Match Retail’s employer brand, enhancing our appeal to top candidates.
- Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to identify talent needs, provide insights into hiring trends, and ensure alignment on recruitment priorities.
- Leverage Data for Continuous Improvement Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, and candidate sources. Use data to make informed decisions and optimize the hiring process.
- Enhance Candidate Experience Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding, maintaining a high level of engagement and communication throughout.
- Utilize Recruitment Technologies Maximize the use of recruitment technologies, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and social platforms to streamline and enhance the recruitment process.
- Manage Recruitment Team Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring efficient workload distribution and fostering a high-performance environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Management, or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition.
- 3-5 years of experience leading a Talent Acquisition team and managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Strong expertise in the recruitment lifecycle, with proven success in high-volume hiring environments.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS preferred) and other HR technology tools.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Bilingual French and English preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts).
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment trends, diversity hiring practices, and labor market conditions.
- Superior time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
