Date: 17 hours ago
City: Burnaby, BC
Contract type: Full time

You want to be part of a team that plans and designs the transportation network you’ll be driving for years to come. You want to learn more about the engineering process and how a team works together to get projects done. You're not afraid to ask questions. You make-and own-your decisions.
Binnie is looking for a Transportation Engineer (EIT) to join our Traffic Services Division, which provides traffic engineering services for traffic operations reviews, land development traffic studies, traffic modelling and analysis, and traffic management studies. Some recent assignments include traffic engineering support on the Owner’s Engineer Team for the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project, traffic management support on the Broadway Subway Line and traffic modelling support for Translink’s new R6 line.
This position is in our Burnaby office, located near scenic Deer Lake. You will work with experienced Project Managers and Professional Engineers on a variety of transportation projects.
You will conduct traffic analysis, undertake transportation planning studies, prepare transportation models, perform field visits, assist with proposal preparation and communicate with various parties on projects.
Your Role
We are the people behind the infrastructure you use every day. We’re small enough to know each other’s names, and big enough to be where we’re needed. As an employee-owned firm and one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, we take pride in our work and are respected as one of the top engineering firms in British Columbia. We support some of the most important infrastructure in the province and beyond.
We’re looking for professionals who want to build careers and communities that last.
We can’t do it without you.
The Perks
People come first. We support you with the education, mentoring, and growth opportunities you need to build an interesting career. As an employee-owned firm, we create a clear internal growth path that can keep up with even the most ambitious professionals. Whether it’s through our Young Professionals group, mentoring programs, Binnie Banters speech club, Movember, or book club, everyone can get involved in their own way.
