About Our Team
The Labour Management team maintains the Labour program for :1000 stores across our business from coast to coast. We partner and work closely with the Operations team to ensure we stay current with what’s happening in our stores. As processes change and new programs are introduced within our stores, we update our Labour program to ensure we allocate the right amount of Labour across all store departments and deploy labour spend effectively.

About The Role
As the Senior Manager, Labour Planning & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Enterprise Labour Strategy. You will lead the annual store labour budget process, oversee periodic labour planning and scheduling, and deliver impactful reporting, dashboards, and insights to guide organizational strategy and decision making. This role requires strong collaboration and the ability to influence Senior Management, District Managers, Specialists, Owners, and Store Managers on all aspects of Labour Management.

About The Role
As the Senior Manager, Labour Planning & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Enterprise Labour Strategy. What You’ll Do
- Lead Labour Planning & Scheduling: Oversee the periodic labour planning and scheduling cycle in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Drive Budget Strategy: Manage the annual store labour budget process, focusing on initiative savings and wage inflation across banners, stores, and periods.
- Enhance Reporting & Dashboards: Utilize automation to maintain and improve labour reporting and dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Optimize Labour Forecasting: Continuously refine forecasting algorithms to enhance labour scheduling efficiency.
- Configure Workforce Management Systems: Ensure the Workforce Management System is effectively maintained and optimized for periodic planning.
- Lead Labour Initiatives & Projects: Drive key labour-related initiatives and projects to support business objectives.
- Conduct Research & Analysis: Perform industry research, financial modeling, and competitive analysis to identify trends and strategic opportunities.
- Engage Stakeholders: Design, develop, and communicate programs and initiatives to key stakeholders.
- Provide Analytical Support: Offer ad-hoc analytical insights and support for business cases aimed at optimizing labour spend.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team to achieve strategic goals and project deliverables.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience in retail, operations, or a similar field.
- Strategic Insight: Strong understanding of enterprise-level labour strategies.
- Communication & Influence: Proven ability to present ideas, influence decisions, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Project & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking, data interpretation and financial modelling capabilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Suite, VBA/Macros, SQL, SAS, and Power BI.
- Adaptability: Ability to navigate shifting priorities while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
- Leadership & Collaboration: A strong team player who can work independently and motivate others to achieve results.
