Reporting to Regional Director, Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales in the assigned market territory through the application of proactive and well-designed sales strategy. Regional Sales Manager proactively directs, supervises and coaches Territory Sales Managers in the assigned branches/supply centers.

Reporting to Regional Director, Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales in the assigned market territory through the application of proactive and well-designed sales strategy. Regional Sales Manager proactively directs, supervises and coaches Territory Sales Managers in the assigned branches/supply centers.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the formulation of sales strategy for assigned territory.
- Provide superior customer service to all existing and potential customers.
- Ensure the effective and efficient execution of sales strategy for assigned territory.
- Visit assigned branches/supply centers on a regular basis to assist with sales effort; report to Regional Director on a timely basis.
- Actively participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, onboarding and training of sales personnel, as requested, in accordance with established procedures.
- Actively research and verify relevant market intelligence through industry contacts, customer networks and trade publications, on an ongoing basis.
- Sell company products and services and actively manage target accounts.
- Identify, investigate and exploit business enhancement opportunities.
- Oversee planning, organization, execution and evaluation of product knowledge training of sales personnel with input from Marketing and direction from Human Resources.
- Collaborate with marketing department on all facets of product marketing, social media initiatives and all related sales activity.
- In collaboration with Regional Director execute pricing decisions, in accordance with established procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years of related sales and management experience.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated organizational ability.
- Availability to travel extensively to visit customers and coach direct reports.
- Ability to work well independently.
