As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will report to the Controller and collaborates with the Order Processing & Invoicing Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for processing and monitoring of incoming payments and safeguarding the receipts of revenue for the company.

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will report to the Controller and collaborates with the Order Processing & Invoicing Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for processing and monitoring of incoming payments and safeguarding the receipts of revenue for the company.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk Will
- Process incoming payments and posting payments to customer accounts.
- Performs all debt collection duties and ensures that all aged receivables are collected in a timely manner while maintaining the collection goals.
- Put past due accounts on hold in accordance with the company’s standard operating procedure.
- Issuing monthly customer statements.
- Reconciling the payments posted with the daily bank deposit statement.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding outstanding balance, payment discrepancies, and any other matter related to accounts receivable.
- Investigate and resolve any invoicing discrepancies, collection issues, rejected payment or misapplied payments.
- Completing accounts receivable ledger reconciliation.
- Providing management with monthly status update on overdue accounts, account receivable issues, and a breakdown of aging balances
- Support month end and year end close procedures.
- Perform all reasonable work activities to support team or as assigned by manager .
- Minimum two year experience in an account receivable o r client-service related role.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to quickly build up relationships with both internal & external customers
- Willingness to learn new skills to be applied in workplace
- Think out of box and continuously find ways to improve current processes
- A team player
- Post-secondary education is an asset.
- Experience in a wholesale / distribution organization is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Experience using an ERP software. NetSuite skill is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite tools
