As we continue to grow our land development practice, we’re seeking a Project Manager, Water Resources to take charge and elevate our Water Resources team in Markham, Ontario.

In this role, you’ll lead dynamic projects ranging from hydrological assessments to complex land development designs for residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the design and delivery of water resource project components within the land development industry with direct report to senior management
  • Develop and apply hydrologic and hydraulic models (incl. natural channel design) in all project phases from conceptual serviceability design during due diligence stage to detailed stormwater management (SWM) facility design for agency approval
  • Oversee conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering designs for a variety of greenfield or intensification land development projects.
  • Prepare and review technical memos, reports, construction plans, and specifications.
  • Train and mentor junior EITs to expand skill sets and identify cross-training opportunities to overall expertise across the team
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and client

Minimum Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree: Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Post Graduate Experience: 6+ years in water resources design and/or fieldwork, with a proven track record in leadership.
  • Credentials: P.Eng. designation is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Civil 3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, Microsoft Office, and other related software. Experience in HEC-RAS 2D hydraulic modelling and ArcGIS is an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to write clear, concise technical reports and memos.
  • Motivated Leader: A strong work ethic with a passion for technical excellence and team development.
